Our take on Celo
We think Celo has a lot going for itself. Crypto today has many issues to overcome to go mainstream and Celo is solving three of them already: Using your phone number instead of cryptic wallet addresses makes it much easier to send money. Three interchangeable stable coins make everyday purchases feasible. And the underlying technology is modern enough to support large amounts of transactions with low fees, and all that while having a positive impact on the planet. If we compare that to Bitcoin and Ethereum, the big two, Celo is already a big improvement in theory. Those others are slow, expensive, hard to use, and planet-killers.
